Dragonlord truly believes that what truly counts is how you feel inside, and he can definitely relate! Despite being born a pig, he identifies more with being a cat. It may seem unusual, but it’s all thanks to being raised by cats from a young age. As a piglet, Dragonlord was saved by Caitlin, the wonderful founder of Rancho Relaxo, and became a part of her family alongside the foster kittens.
Caitlin noticed that Dragonlord was small and fragile, so she made the decision to keep him indoors during the chilly nights until he was bigger. However, she soon discovered that Dragonlord wasn’t going to develop into an ordinary pig as he grew older.
When the new piglet joined the family, it didn’t take long for it to form a close bond with kittens Sriracha and Raisin. Despite their differences, the little friends became inseparable and even snuggled up together when they slept. Sriracha took on the role of grooming Dragonlord and teaching him how to act like a cat, while Raisin showed him the ropes on how to play like a true feline. Surprisingly, the piglet was such a quick learner that he even mastered the art of purring!
According to an Instagram post, Caitlin’s original plan was to care for a piglet until he was old enough to join the other pigs in the barn. However, Dragonlord, the piglet, was not thrilled about being outside, especially when it started raining. Caitlin described the experience as disastrous, as Dragonlord was unhappy. As a result, Dragonlord has now opted to stay indoors with his beloved feline friends. Caitlin had no choice but to keep Dragonlord inside, where he was happiest.
“He goes by Dragonlord, ruler of the felines.”
While wallowing in the mud and basking under the sun may be the perfect life for some pigs, it’s not the case for this little guy. His idea of a dream life involves frolicking and snuggling with his fluffy companions.
Let’s just cross our fingers that he doesn’t partake in 3 am zoomies as well.
